My name is Niels Rom. Welcome to my personal website. I have worked for several years in investment banks and financial institutions in Copenhagen, Denmark. I hold a PhD in computational finance. My major interests are Mathematical/Computational Finance, enjoying life in general and spending time with my family.

Holmen
I live on Margretheholm which is part of a small group of artificial islands called Holmen, located in the centre of Copenhagen just between the two islands Sjælland and Amager.
Holmen used to be home base for the Danish naval fleet. Today Holmen host several public institutions among others the school of architecture, the Danish national school of theatre and the national film school of Denmark.
